2026 Girls Spring Lacrosse

**A USA Lacrosse membership number is required to register. **

The PAGLA (Philadelphia Area Girls Lacrosse Association) requires this in order to participate.

If you do not have a membership, join here. The fee is $35 per child

The Perkiomen Valley Youth Girls Lacrosse program is a recreational program. We participate in the Tri-County Division of PAGLA .

Below are some of the key dates for this upcoming season.

Key Season Dates & Details:

General Registration: Closes on February 10th. Act fast, as spots are limited!
Futures Division (Grades 1-2): Enjoy a grace period with no late fees until after March 1st.
Practice Starts: We aim for late February, hoping the weather is on our side.
Team Assignment: By February 21st, you’ll receive your team assignments and practice details. If you’re left wondering, email us at [email protected]. (Please hold off on team-related questions until then.)
Game Time: The lacrosse journey begins in mid/late March. Your coach will share the official schedule once it’s set in mid-March.
Weather Watch: Our fields’ availability is weather-dependent. If the school district closes the fields for any reason, we must comply—no exceptions.

Due to the increasing volume of players in the league play with requests, carpool requests and coaching requests will not be honored. While we understand that it is difficult, the volume of requests has made selecting teams a very difficult task. The good news is that there are usually only 2-3 teams in each division, and we hope that after the teams have been selected carpooling will be made much easier.

We hope to have 4 divisions of play this season:

Futures Division (Grades 1-2): Focuses on fun and fundamentals with 1-2 practices per week and 5 scheduled games starting in mid-April. Plus, a play day event for hands-on learning and fun competition. These events are a lot of fun for the girls.
Grades - 3rd & 4th / 5th & 6th / 7th & 8th: These divisions enjoy a full PAGLA league schedule, play day events, and a mix of Saturday main events, with additional games sprinkled throughout the week. Most games are located within 1/2 hour of PV.

Please note, because of participation in Middle School Lacrosse thru the school district in grades 7 and 8, we sometimes don't get enough girls registered to form a team. Girls are allowed to play both Rec and Middle School and if we have enough girls to form a team we will have one in this age group as would be our preference.

Also, we are always looking for volunteers to be head coaches or assistants. Girls lacrosse is a relatively new sport, and we understand that not a lot of parents have experience with it. But that's ok, some of our best coaches have been new to the sport. Because it is so new, most parents are in the same boat. PAGLA runs a clinic at the beginning of the season that is great in helping new coaches learn the game.
