Current Covid-19 District Requirements

10-28-21 Update: The PV School District has made some modifications to the masking provisions that will be applied to our Rec Basketball League and home travel games and practices. Players while playing in the game, will NOT be required to wear a mask. Those players sitting on the bench and those parents spectating will be required to wear masks. All players will be required to wear masks while practicing. Also, in regards to attendance. For the first week of the season no parents will be allowed in the gyms to spectate. Following that for the early part of the season, there will be a limit of 2 parents per child allowed in all gyms. With the socially distancing guidelines of the district it will be very difficult to accommodate more than 2 per player in the smaller elementary school gyms. We do hope that in the larger middle school gyms we will be able to let more parents in as well as students who wish to watch the older divisions as the season progresses.

8-31-21 Update: We will not be holding registration for our futures program at this time. We don't know yet what the potential gym restrictions on the number of people allowed inside as set by the PV School District will be so before we accepted registration payments we thought it best to delay this season until we know more information. Please check back to the website as we will update it when we know more.

We will be taking registration for 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls rec basketball but not accepting payment at this time. Parents need to be in the gyms for 1st and 2nd graders and if there is a gym restriction on the number of people allowed inside at one time as determined by the PV School District, we unfortunately won't be able to have this division. We hope that is not the case. Once we find out if we are able to have this division, everyone who registered will be sent and email where they will then be able to go in and make payment for their child.

8-27-2021: Currently, PVSD is requiring masks be worn indoors for all sports. We are seeking clarity on whether this means players on the court, on the bench or both. Once we get that information we will update this section of the website. We also are seeking information on the spectator policy for parents. Currently, one has not been established. As we get updates, they will be placed in this section of the website. Thank you.
